It’s been a quite sometime I haven’t blogged, I was busy with my trip plan to the stunning Italy and after coming back I have been disconnected for almost 2 weeks without the Internet.
Back Today, I decided to share a bit about my visit to Italy.
It’s really hard to describe how stunning Italy is, I have visited Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa and Rome and each place has its own beauty & taste. You find me a bit saying Venice was the best of all, and a bit Rome and a bit Florence, but it’s really hard to tell.
But in this blog, i want to talk about Florence in particular. It was more than what I expected, though it doesn’t have as many attractions as Rome, but still it has its own charm.
I just loved its streets ,cafes, shops, food, history & its art. Its true that Florence the heart, beauty, charm, history and culture of Italy.
I was tempted to go shopping , but I have to remind myself that I am on a budget.
there was no need to take buses, we have done it all within walking distance. (Yes, we were tired!) But it’s worth it ;) I’d say we have just hopped on the tour bus for 2 hours during our 4 days stay. Just to make sure we haven’t missed out anything.
Walking around in Florence ancient streets imposes to every eye. The first thing that came across my mind was my history of art class during my foundation year in university! Yes, all the painting, monuments and buildings I saw just reminded me of what I have studied about the renaissance.
Florence is an art lover’s kind of city.
The famous Duomo, a building that still dominates Florence, simply a monumental spiritual centerpiece.

The Piazza houses some beautiful and famous sculptures including the reproduction of Michelangelo’s David.

The Ponte Vecchio is absolutely gorgeous.

The vast Uffizi gallery is one of the oldest and most famous art museums in Florence.
